Four brave (and very capable!) members stepped up to share their knowledge, passion, and experience, making for an engaging and thoroughly enjoyable night.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">We began the evening with Tony Timmins, who provided a highly practical and informative session on mounting prints for both competition and exhibition. Tony shared valuable tips on presentation, helping members understand how thoughtful mounting can enhance the overall impact of an image\u2014an essential skill for anyone looking to showcase their work at its best.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Next, Karen Tillett took us into the fascinating world of macro photography. Her enthusiasm for capturing the tiny details often missed by the naked eye was truly infectious. Karen showcased some of her stunning work and offered insights into techniques and equipment, inspiring many of us to take a closer look at the small wonders around us.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Following a welcome tea break and a chance to chat, the second half of the evening began with Adrian Canale-Parola. Adrian demonstrated his passion for artistic photography, encouraging us to think beyond traditional approaches and explore more creative and expressive styles. His work sparked plenty of thought and discussion, reminding us that photography is as much about interpretation as it is about technique.<\/p><p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The evening concluded with Steven Farmer, who spoke about the work he has undertaken so far as part of his photographic degree. Steven\u2019s presentation gave a fascinating glimpse into his creative journey, as well as the challenges and rewards of studying photography at a higher level.<\/p><p>All in all, it was a thoroughly informative and entertaining evening, showcasing the depth of talent within our society.
