Often regarded as the Society\u2019s most prestigious accolade, the trophy is awarded for the year\u2019s best <strong>Projected Digital Image (PDI)<\/strong>\u2014a title that always inspires members to submit their finest work.<\/p><p>This year was no exception. With <strong>well over 80 images<\/strong> entered, the standard was remarkably high, offering a rich mix of creativity, technical skill, and artistic expression. From sweeping landscapes and emotive portraits to imaginative abstract compositions, the breadth of styles on display demonstrated the depth of talent within the Society.<\/p><p>We were delighted to welcome <strong>Dave Tucker<\/strong> as our judge for the evening. With such a large and diverse set of entries, Dave certainly had his work cut out. He provided thoughtful, constructive commentary throughout, highlighting both the strengths of each image and opportunities for refinement. Gradually\u2014and with great care\u2014he whittled down the field to a final shortlist of exceptional photographs.<\/p><p>After much deliberation, Dave selected this year\u2019s <strong>worthy winner of the President\u2019s Trophy: Elizabeth Bryan<\/strong>. Her beautiful image from Norway captivated both the judge and audience with its impact and craftsmanship. The announcement was met with enthusiastic applause, celebrating a well-deserved achievement.<\/p><p>A huge <strong>congratulations to Elizabeth<\/strong>, and well done to everyone who entered. The sheer quality of submissions made this an inspiring and memorable evening.
