Members’ Evening -Macro closeup with Liz Peet

We’re always pleased to welcome back long-time friend of the club, Liz Peet. She’ll be joining us for an evening all about Macro and Close-Up Photography. With Macro/Close-Up featuring as one of this year’s Merit Competition themes, the timing couldn’t be better. Liz will be sharing plenty of practical tips, ideas and inspiration to help us get the best from smaller subjects, covering things like lighting, composition, focus and depth of field along the way. As anyone who has seen Liz speak before will know, her evenings are always friendly, informative and full of useful advice, so this should be a great chance to pick up a few new tricks before the competition comes around. Don’t forget to bring your camera along too, as there will be plenty of time to get involved.
