Competition 3: Nature

Our two annual Nature Competitions are always popular fixtures in the Dunchurch Photographic Society calendar. The Wally Mills Trophy is awarded for the best projected nature image, while the Toft Trophy celebrates the best nature print. Together they give members the chance to show off everything from birds and mammals to insects, plants and other subjects from the natural world. Nature photography can be hugely rewarding but also demands patience, observation and a good understanding of your subject, so these competitions are a great opportunity to celebrate the skill and dedication that goes into getting the shot.
