The results after 3 Battles are

The First Battle of the year was a 3-way against Lutterworth PS and Hinkley PS and was judged by Trevor McHugh…

There were 7 prints and 7 digital images from each club, each being marked out of 20.

This was not as tight a contest as last year. We looked destined for a win after the prints but our projected images performed poorly so overall we took second place with the same total score that we won with last year. Congratulations to Lutterworth.

The overall  results were

Our top marked prints were "Cheetah" and "Buffalo" by Tony Timmins, both with 20s and our top DPI was "Abandoned Ship" by Phil Lindley with 19.

The Second Battle of the year was against Badby and District PC and was judged by Graham Hodgkiss…

There were 10 prints and 10 digital images from each club, each being marked out of 20.

Taking lessons from the first battle we changed 1 print and added 3, and for the DPIs we changed 3 and added 3.

The overall  result was not as close as last season when there was only 1 point in it, but we took the honours again.

Our top marked print was again "Cheetah" by Tony Timmins with 20. Our best projected images were "Come and Worship" by Stephen Lake and "Rising from the Mist" by Judy Longthorn, both scoring 20s.

The Final Battle of the season was a 3-wayer against Leamington PS and Coventry PS and was judged by Keith Long.

There were 9 prints and 10 digital images from each club, each being marked out of 20.

We made some minor tweeks to our entries and the overall result was the closest of the season, and for the first time in members' memory we prevailed over the other clubs having come last in the previous encounter 2 years ago.
