The executive committee members of the society have this evening decided to cancel or postpone all meetings of members until the end of the 2019/20 season. This decision is not only made in the light of the current coronavirus situation and with due consideration of the actions of other clubs, judges and speakers but also after hearing the latest government advice and requests but also with regard for the health and welfare of our members.
Dates cancelled are:-
18th March 2020 Battle @ Dunchurch
24th March 2020 Battle @ Leamington (Cancelled by Leamington)
25th March 2020 AV Group presentation
1st April 2020 Awards evening and buffet
8th April 2020 Annual General Meeting
Will committee members also note that the next meeting scheduled for Thursday, 26th March is also cancelled.
We are sorry that our club year is ending in this way but are confident we are taking the correct decision in the light of present knowledge and advice. I have no doubt that we will be in touch again soon with further information about the Society such as, for example, subjects for the Summer Challenge and Merit competitions.
