Each club presented 10 images in both sections and the judge, Peter Siviter EFIAP, commented on each of the entries and then awarded scores out of 20.
Leamington were worthy winners and presented some cracking shots. 'Overhead Kick' by Glyn Thomas was my favourite projected image, but not the judge's favourite as he only awarded it 19, whereas another of Glyn's, 'Warwick Cycle Race', achieved 20. It is some consolation to me that Glyn only just failed to beat me to the lowest score awarded in the battle when he achieved 10 for 'Ripples at Sunset' against my 9 for 'Kingfisher'.
We have 3 more battles this year and the selection committee would love to have more images to choose from, so please present your gems when requested. Bear in mind that battles are based on an OPEN classification, so you may not have had a chance yet to show that winner.
